This costume is inspired by all the lovely 1960s fashions worn by Betty Draper on
Mad Men, one of my regular shows that I always seem to have to defend to people. I tried to keep the makeup simple like on the show; it's just black liquid eyeliner on the top lid only, mascara and a horrible pink lipstick that can only come in handy for retro shoots. The dress came from a thrift shop and was a really lucky find for a production of
Grease when I was young.
